I’m afraid to buy Animal Crossing
I’m really afraid to buy Animal Crossing for the DS. It’s like I know if I buy it I’ll get hooked for a while and then after about a month I’ll be done with it. The same thing happened with the GC version, not to mention Nintendogs. It’s that whole Electroplankton thing all over again. I feel I should buy it to support innovative risks taken by the industry. It’s not like I’d be buying a bad game. It’s definitely a fine game. I just need to think about the purchases I make anymore.
Can someone convince me to buy this? Or am I on my own?
The problem with these games is that I don’t have any friends that play them. So, the only way for me to connect with people is to go online and I don’t really have any strong friends that I could connect with that I only know on the internet. It’s not the same to mess with people’s towns if you don’t even know what they look like. I played Mario Kart for a bit online but got bored with it because it was really just like playing the computer. I didn’t know them and they didn’t know me. I couldn’t talk to them either.
I hope the Revolution online service has talking.
