Seaweed & Sapporo

by Patrick on December 18th, 2006

If you remembered, I was on my way to have my first meal in Sapporo. When you are out in the cold, you have to eat. That’s my logic as eating will give you the energy to fight the unbearable (for me) cold. Every country has its specialty (in food). In Singapore, we have Hainanese chicken rice. In Hokkaido, they have seafood, seafood and more seafood to keep you delighted.

Here’s my lunch!

The green thing in the bowl, at the center, is seaweed. And you have a variety of seafood such as prawn, squid and fish in the steaming pot. The rice is yummy, sticky though.

After lunch, I hit the road to go to a factory. I’m not walking there though.

White traffic lights or signals look like marshmallow with colours.

Snow golfing, anyone?

The overhead bridge has the street name written on it.

I have reached the factory! Ho Hum. Guess what kind of factory it is…

Join me and we will explore this factory together in the next post of Ironic Gamer Goes to Japan series.
