2 Game Magazines, 1 Free, the Other Sorta

Erin @ Play Girlz has highlighted a PDF, bi-monthly game magazine called Play.d. The current issue has 83 colourful and insightful pages.Woot!

Play.d Magazine is a freely downloadable games magazine which is viewable in PDF format. We aim to bring you upto date news, previews, reviews and interesting articles every 2 months. Our aim is to create a professional quality magazine that everyone can download and read. Over the coming issues we hope to improve our design and quality of writing to achieve our goals.

P.S: If you can’t find the Subscribe button at Play.d Magazine website, please look for the letter “a” of “play.d” (I know you are clever enough).

The other game magazine, Games for Windows, is giving a free annual subscription (but only applies to US residents and there’s a requirement to fulfil). Check it out @ GameSetWatch.

Games for Windows: The Official Magazine is the new name for the former Computer Gaming World. It’s created by the same completely independent editorial staff, led by Jeff Green, with the same great features, plus some new bonus stuff now that we’re the official magazine of PC gaming.
