you’re just another LOW LIFE in the world who wants attention
Nov 28, 2007 at 9:03 pm
Well, that’s a tad bit harsh.
Don’t you think?
Nov 29, 2007 at 12:28 am
These are really neat, as for the guy calling you a low life, he is just jealous (or maybe deprived of having Legos as a child)…

The plural of Lego is Lego, not “legos”, you retards. You don’t say, there were three sheeps in the field, do you. No. Same thing with Lego.
Dec 2, 2007 at 8:26 pm
“The word ‘LEGO’, when used as a noun, should only refer to the company that makes the product. Otherwise ‘LEGO’ is supposed to be used as an adjective. Thus, when referring to the pieces, neither ‘lego’ nor ‘legos’ is correct… rather one should say: ‘LEGO bricks’ or ‘LEGO pieces’ or whatever (using LEGO as an adjective — and one should really capitalize all of the letters, and put the little ‘circle-R’ symbol after it (®)). This is all a matter of protecting the trademark of ‘LEGO’ for the company (using it otherwise degenerates the strength of the trademark)”
Quoted from Eric Harshbarger’s LEGO® Website.

Lovely, but in the mortal combat lego, he still has remaining life and already suffer a fatality
Dec 6, 2007 at 9:37 am
Amy, hats off to you. The effort and details behind these scenes are amazing. Ignore the jerk-wads who have nothing better to do with their time than post anonymous drivel. Your work does, in fact, rule!
What I find extremely funny: Johnny Cage looks pretty happy about exposing his spine. Again, kudos!

The best part of all of these has got to be the Mortal Kombat audience. That detail won me over.

SD - Before you posted that flickr link, I had never heard of Skinnycoder as I did not find these photos on his flickr page.
I know for a fact that the first image came from:
http://www.urbanretrolifestyle.com/tag/nintendo/page/2/
As for the rest, they could have come from any myriad of sites.
However, since it does appear that Skinnycoder is the original source, then I’ll add a citation pointing to his flickr page.
AND, just for the record, I never “took credit” for making the great pieces, I only showcased them and forgot to site my sources.
Cheers.

Great art.
This kind of craft is surely good for the hands and imagination.
I think this Lego is a very eco-friendly tool, because it can be reused very many times.
