It’s Fun if You’re Drunk
After speaking with an out-of-town friend who reads this blog, I came to the realization that people think that I love Guitar Hero 3. It’s not that I don’t like guitar hero…it’s just that I’m not in love with Guitar Hero 3. [Sorry Slash. We can still be friends, right?]
Sure, it’s a fun game to play with a group of drunk friends. But only if all friends suck equally at the game because it’s no fun to get your ass kicked at Guitar Hero by a drunk guy. [Hypothetically speaking of course. Something like that would never happen to me.]
The easy level is fun in that “I have a really short attention span and I like my fingers to look like gnarled roots” way. But hold on! There are two other levels! Except…wait…the other two levels are just like the first level! Same songs. Same graphics. Same everything. Wait. That’s not right. They added more buttons to push. Bravo, Guitar Hero 3. I wasn’t expecting that move. Actually, that just kind of pisses me off.
I think that I’ve pretty much established that Guitar Hero 3 isn’t my “type” of game.
After playing the game on Easy and realizing that the other two difficulty levels had the same songs, I put my brightly colored axe down and was overjoyed that I had borrowed the game and not sunk any change into the damn thing.
All of this prattling along is actually just a lead-in to another Yahtzee video. [Like I would write about Guitar Hero 3 without a good reason.]
