Online games are sort of heading the motion-sensing mouse way. Previously covered X Ping Pong sports online game uses the motion of the mouse to execute cool ping pong moves in the game, which means you don’t have to hit the keyboard buttons for direction-control. This type of game control is also seen in Street Fighter Online Mouse Generation (SFO), an online versus game by Capcom and Daletto. Move your mouse left, your SF character will go left. Move your mouse up, the character will jump. Some clicks on the mouse and you’ll get some special moves. In a sense, the mouse has become a joystick and buttons all roll into one.

Besides the Wiiway control, SFO also allows you to customize your character. What I mean by customizing is that you can have a Panda BIG head, Ryu’s hunky body and Chun Li’s sturdy legs to form a character. Maybe this form customization can whip out a more powerful and funny fighter. Well, this SF online game is still in beta but sure adds some spice, other than SFIV, to the Street Fighter legend this year.
